Wednesday, December 22, 2009  5:45 p.m. Meet at the Foss Village for caroling, followed by a Troop Christmas Party at the Broadview United Church of Christ.  All Parents and siblings should attend.

This is the last meeting of 2010 and it will be appropriately glorious. Scouts must be in full uniform. Here’s the schedule for the evening:

6:00 p.m. Christmas Caroling at the
Foss Home Cottages, located on North 130th Street just west of Greenwood Avenue North. The Cottages are the low, single story buildings behind the big condo-like structure on Greenwood Avenue.

With the help of musically talented Scounts and parents, we will sing our heads off for the senior residents of the Foss Home. Music lyric sheets are provided. You all know the tunes.

7:00 p.m. Pot luck dinner, Christmas Party, and Court of Honor at the Broadview United Church of Christ, at 125th & Phinney.  The parking lot is off Phinney and the fellowship hall is down the stairs, through the kitchen.  There will be a Court of Honor.  Volunteer parents are needed to coordinate our Christmas Party.

Advancing Scouts and the current youth leadership will be recognized, and the new Senior Patrol Leader, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader will be installed. We will also have a gift exchange among Scouts. Bring something funny or entertaining in the $5-10 range. Wrap it nicely.  Nothing obscene, explosive or gross! It should be something you would like to receive. We will wrap everything up by 8:30 p.m.
