President's Day Weekend. 4:30 p.m. - TENTATIVE! Meet at the Whitman school parking lot to carpool to the Mountaineer's
Lodge at Stevens Pass for an extended weekend of skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, along with overnight igloo and
snow cave camping. The Consent Form and more information to follow.

8:00 a.m Breakfast at the Mountaineers Lodge. 9:00 a.m. Make your sack lunch. There will be no
lunches at the Mountaineers Lodge.

Snowshoers. 10:00
a.m. Snowshoe to Skyline Lake. Snowshoers need snowshoes, proper footwear, winter hiking
gear, 10 essentials, and a day pack with lunch and hydration.
Overnight Snow Campers.
10:00 a.m. Begin building your igloo or snow cave up hill from the Mountaineers Lodge. There will be a pack check for
Scouts sleeping overnight in igloos or snow caves. Overnight campers should bring complete camping kits for backpacking on snow and camping in igloos
or snow caves. Overnighters will spend at least one and maybe two nights in their igloos or snow caves.
Skiiers & Snowboarders. Have a great day!
6:00 p.m - Dinner at the Mountaineer's Lodge except for those Scouts camping overnight in their igloos or
snow caves. They will cook their own meals.

- Second day of Troop 123's Steven's Pass event.
8:00 a.m. Breakfast at the Mountaineers Lodge except
for overnight igloo or snowcave campers who are cooking their own breakfast.
9:00 a.m. Make your own sack lunch
except for the overnight igloo or snowcave campers who are making their own lunch.
There will be no lunch at the Mountaineers
Lodge.
Those returning home on Sunday should bring cash for a fast food lunch on the return, and
should be dropped off at home in the late afternoon.
6:00 p.m - Dinner at the Mountaineer's Lodge except for
those Scouts camping overnight in their igloos or snow caves. They will cook their own meals.
Monday February 20,
2011 - Possible third day of Troop 123's Stevens Pass event.
Those returning Monday should bring money for breakfast
at the Index Cafe. They should be dropped off at home in the early afternoon.
