Saturday, September 13, 2008 Day hike to Boardman Lake. This easily accessible mid-elevation lake
is nestled in a very picturesque alpine setting. The short easy trail hike into the lake was through an old-growth forest

Satuday, September
6, 2008 Mount Pilchuck day hike. We hiked to the little finger like point that you see
at the left of the very top of Mount Pilchuck where there is an old Forest Service fire lookout station. The hike is six miles roundtrip to the Mount Pilchuck lookout. The elevation gain is
2,224 feet in three miles. This is the best September day hike on Earth. Click here for photos on "Shutterfly".

Troop 123 backpack from Lake Ozette to the ocean beach and return. Four overnights. Click the map for the full sized version. Then, scroll down and note the triangular loop trail from the
north end of Lake Ozette to the coast of the Pacific Ocean, down the coast, and back to Lake Ozette. This is the trail.

May 17th to Sunday, May 18, 2008. We initially intended to skip the Aurora District Camporee and hike
to Barclay Lake, but Stevens Pass and Barclay Lake were "socked in". So, we went to Deception Pass State Park instead.
